Your dedicated IC canister (smart contract) handles the request. It first checks its built-in cache for the requested page. If cached, it serves instantly in ~0.2 seconds.
For uncached content, the canister makes an authenticated HTTP outcall to your WordPress backend using a cryptographic WASP token. No one else can access your WordPress.
Your WordPress runs in a Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) — an encrypted hardware enclave. It validates the WASP token, generates the page, and returns HTML to the canister.
The canister caches the response on the blockchain and serves it to the visitor. Future requests for this page are served instantly from the decentralized cache.
